Spanish language module for EVEREST v4.60.1519 Beta Ultimate

The current spanish translation is outdated, incomplete and with several errors.
For example, at line bytes/s=bits/s gondolkodik.gif (1 byte is 1 byte in all languages or 1 byte=8bits but never 1byte=1bit)

I have decided to create my own translation for my personal use. smile.gif

Unfortunately the maintainer of the Spanish language module (Iaël) disappeared 3 years ago, and since then we couldn't find anyone who could take over her job.

Have you made the translation from scratch, or you fixed the errors in the existing Spanish language module and translated the new lines?

Either way, do you think you could become the official maintainer of the EVEREST Spanish language module? We'd be very happy to finally being able to find a committed Spanish user who could do that.

I have based the translation on the Iaël module. I've completed all lines commented with *** and corrected the most lines in the file translated by Iaël.

I have found a new error huh.gif ; in the current spanish language file (by Iaël) appears the next line: “At least 85 Hz vertical refresh rate is recommended for classic displays.”

In fact it would have to say: “At least 85 Hz vertical refresh rate is recommended for classic (CRT) displays.”

I have corrected it in this new language file: Attached File  lang_es.txt (120.55K)

Sorry, my time is limited. I cannot be the official maintainer of the language file.
I have made this translation (only) because the current file is very outdated and whit errors.

I upgrade my system to Windows Vista.

The translation on aero appears partially in some lines.

I solved this problem in the next language file; via abbreviations and synonymous in favor of cut down the lines.

Some accelerator characters are changed in English text since v4.60.1639 Beta and they've fixed that in all language modules:

#3 new line: Log sensor readings to CS&V log file:=...


#4 old line: Enable &shared memory=...
#4 new line: Enable shared &memory=...

Besides, there are some new lines in 163x beta too...
Note that 1639 Beta does NOT include your latest language module yet...
