Hello i have a "big" problem with my pc & everest (last beta version)

Today i have change the ram timing because the auto setting of motherboard have load the tras setting with 18 ( the specific of ram is 5 5 5 15...)

previus changes i was look into everest this :

DIMM1 Clock Fine Delay 1T
DIMM2 Clock Fine Delay 3T
DIMM3 Clock Fine Delay 1T
DIMM4 Clock Fine Delay 3T

I haven't understan what is it however after changes DIMM1 and DIMM3 setting are lost!!!

I can look only two clock fine delay

DIMM2 Clock Fine Delay 2T
DIMM4 Clock Fine Delay 2T

I have restored bios with default configuration, i have updated the driver of p35 without solution.

Why? Is it a problem of motherboard :'(?

sorry for my bad english, please help me!

EDIT on the internet i have find other everest log where are lost 2 o 1 dimm clock setting (or 2-4 dimm, or 1-2-3 dimm, or 2-3-4 dimm)

is this a everest bug?

why doesn't it show all setting of clock fine delay ?

maybe there is bios issue? i know my mobo (rampage formula) gives those delays "randomly" on each powerup/hard reboot, sometimes they are 0-4-0-4, next reboot ill get 1-5-1-5 or 1-5-1-4 or 0-5-0-4. DRAM clk delays in bios are always the same, but there suppose to be some bug in ai clock twister that is causing this, so maybe you have similar bug with your mobo since its asus as well as mine wink.gif? i might come around and check with my brother since he have same mb as you.

i don't know because in my bios i can't change this value.
is your bug a problem or it is normal in all asus rampage formula?
But improve clock fine delay the performances ?

when your monbo set 0 4 0 4 everest show only dimm2 and dimm4 or it show all clock fine delay?

ah I use this version : 5.00.1658 Beta but is equal with old version

yeh my brother have also this "bug", seems like its kinda generic asus bug and im sure you can change clock delays, you just need to find them (hint: they are not avilable unless you turn on overclocking settings)

p5k pro doesnt seems to have this option, but on rampage you have ai clock twister and dram clk skews that directly effect fine delays. And someone on XS forums figured out that on rampage formula ai clock twister is bugy and doesnt work properly on ANY setting (even on auto). You not having this option to change this two things doesnt mean you cant be effected by this bug, because bios still need to calulate them somehow and if "core" code is broken then we might be looking it to generic asus bios bug... but anyway with that small differences you shouldnt worry in any case unless you get stability issues because of it.

good

hence my motherboard is ok

only i don't understan why asus hide this setting into bios or, in your case, this setting into bios don't work correctly

now there are only one problem

why don't everest show some dimm clock fine delay? maybe when the value is 0t everest don't show it?

yes ofc when i dont see certain fine delay i assume its 0T. Maybe it could show 0T instead of confusing some people tho wink.gif

The problem in EVEREST was that it translated 0 register values as invalid readings, instead of showing "0T". We've fixed it in the latest beta version of EVEREST Ultimate Edition available for download at:

http://www.lavalys.c...bp3dlksdc8x.zip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know how it works.

Thanks,
Fiery
