First of all let me say hello as I am new to these forums.
Now for the problem I am having. I have a EVGA Classified motherboard (760) and is would appear that the North Bridge temp is not registering correctly. The north bridge temp is reading the same as the CPU temp. I have checked the temps in the BIOS and it should be about 7c higher than the CPU temps.
Just wandering if anyone Else has had this issue.

Do you really expect a quick answer on a summer's weekend? confused.gif wink.gif

Here it is: wink.gif

Please upgrade to the latest beta version of EVEREST Ultimate Edition available at:

http://www.lavalys.c...s0doyi7nmgc.zip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Fiery

during the summer, people take vacations, and the weekend part is a no brainer. most people dont work on weekends.

Plus, you have to take into consideration there is a very very very small team of people that make this product (two is the number i do believe) for you to use.

I see! Not a very friendly bunch here. mad_2.gif I guess If this was a FREE product I could understand the attitude, but the fact that I PAID a pretty good price for the software should not matter?! I work seven days a week for my money that I gave up to buy this software that isn’t working right for me.
Any way I guess thanks for the replies and I will make sure NOT to renew my license for the software frown.gif Thanks again?!

We treat every users the same, even when they're not paying customers (ie. trial users, pirate version users). If you look around in the forum, we don't ask for serial key or other methods to verify if a user is a paying customer. We haven't verified your claim about being a paying customer, and we don't intend to do so.

We're truly a small team, albeit not just 2 guys. I personally also work 7 days a week, but that doesn't mean I do support tasks every day, simply because I'm also responsible for a whole series of other tasks (development, keeping contact with other companies, managing the hardware test lab, managing various corporate tasks, etc). And the other guys of our support team is currently either on vacation, or being on/off (not working in the normal, non-summer pace).

If you believe our support is inadequate during a weekend (when most companies are closed), especially during the summer (when in most companies part of the work force is away), then I advise you to look around and check how support works with other companies, e.g. in the software business. I'd be surprised if a reply in 48 hours would be common during a weekend with other companies.

I'd be happy to keep investigating the issue about your motherboard, so let me know if you need further help.

Regards,
Fiery

Fiery, Thanks for your replies. My point is this. I understand all of what you are saying. I truly do. I just didn’t see need to be “chastised “for my follow up post. The angry face was meant light heartedly. Just because I am a new member to the forums shouldn’t make me less of a member.
I apologize if I came off the wrong way. I just get a little miffed and find myself having to defend other “newbie” members on other post constantly because they are often targets for other members. Guess I just felt like that is what was going on.
If I could start over, yes I am still having the problem, even with the beta version. The North Bridge and CPU temps are not reading correctly on my system. Thanks again! biggrin.gif

Are those 2 temperatures still the very same, both under heavy system load, and idle?

We've already contacted EVGA about this issue, because it is supposed to work already in the latest beta. We've fixed a bug related to EVGA E75x and E76x boards in Beta Build 1790, but maybe we're still doing something wrong. However, since EVGA's support might just work slower than ours, please let us have a few days to wait for EVGA's answer, and the possible resolution to this issue.

Thanks,
Fiery

We've fine-tuned the sensor info module for EVGA E65x, E75x and E76x Series motherboards. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of EVEREST Ultimate Edition available at:

http://www.lavalys.c...dpsq3mjkl1x.zip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let us know how it works.

Hi!
I have an EVGA P55 FTW motherboard, and I am having this same problem.
I've updated to this new Beta version and followed your instructions to restart the Windows.
Still, the problem continues.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits, the original retail version, and my CPU is a Core i5 750.
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks.

1) Please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Sensor page of EVEREST into this topic.

2) Also, right-click on the bottom status bar of EVEREST main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic.

Thanks,

When I turn Everest ON, the temps readings of my CPU gets crazy.
It oscilates to a number below zero degrees Celsius and to 32 ºC.
When this happens, the LCD of the mobo shows FF and 32 alternately.
Then, after a time, the program and the LCD displays the correct value of the CPU temp.

When this is happening, while the mobo shows FF/32, the Everest don't shows the values of the CPU or the Southbridge neither.
Only showing them when the normal value is showed at the LCD of the mobo.

All of this problems disappears when I turn Everest OFF.

The images and informations you requested is down below.

Once again, sorry for my terrible English.

Fiery, even with this new Beta version, the problem still continues exactly the same.
I have executed the program one time after the download, leaving all options at default, then I restarted the Windows, and executed it again.
But, as I said, didn't resolved the problems.
Thanks for the attention.

If it's possible, please do the following:

1) Upgrade to the latest beta version of EVEREST Ultimate Edition available at:

http://www.lavalys.c...s1dmyn4wcxr.zip

2) After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

3) After the restart, start EVEREST, right-click on the bottom status bar of its main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. This particular dump has been extended in this beta to possibly reveal a register switching difference between your board and the rest of the EVGA X58/P55 range.

Thanks,

Fiery, as you requested, I've downloaded and extracted this new version, executed the everest.exe one time only and don't changed no one setting of it.
Then, I've restarted the Windows, and did what you said.
