I had an Acer travelmate 5530. I opened it to put more memory and saw that it is capable to monitor fan speed because it has all the 3 wires. everest doesn't see the fan, so I'm posting the sensor dumps. Right now I don't have the laptop but if you need more information I can post here but it'll take some time.

Thank you for the dumps, but:

1) Your notebook doesn't seem to have any sensor chips. It's common for notebooks to not have any sensor chips.

2) I don't think your notebook is capable of monitoring fan speed (RPM). Most notebooks can control fans via a 3-wire fan solution, but they cannot monitor the actual fan RPM. Presence of a 3-wire doesn't mean fan RPM monitoring is supported.
