Hi,
is it possible to use system variables in paths used in File scanner during Network audit ?
Like for example %USERPROFILE% ?
Thank you.

Then allow me a simple question - could it be implemented ?
For example now, I'm gathering list of DBX files and their sizes to check wheter they are growing beyond limit... unfortunatelly due to missing system variables I had to setup to search whole "C:\Document and settings" instead of "%appdata% or %USERPROFILE% etc. ...so scan that could be finished really fast is taking pretty long just because it's going trough others waste directories...
Those variables are available on all XP systems, hopefully as well on Vista and Windows 7 ... not sure here.

I'm sorry for the late reply, but we're flooded with bug reports and improvement requests here
Not easy to prioritize requests in front of show stopper bugs. We'll try to do better in 2010.

Fiery

Fiery, cool, thank you, I will try that.
I fully understand, it's a pity there is no function on the forum like "work in progress", or "request declined" or anything similar. Because I didn't know if request was read or not at all due other higher priorities, which I however fully understand.

After your post we've tested the following two paths, and found both to be working well:
%userprofile%\Desktop
%userprofile%\Application Data
I think you either have no such folder (%userprofile%\Application data\Identities), or you mistakently included the quote characters ("), or there was a typo in your configuration
However, please note that you can use %appdata% to make things even more universal
Let me know if you can make it work or not.
Thanks,
Fiery
