Does Everest automatically suggest program updates? I cannot seem to find anything about that in documentation. Thank you.

We don't have such feature yet, but we plan to implement that -- and also an online auto-update feature -- sometime next year.

So how do I know which (beta) to update to that is stable, or do you recommend waiting for a major release? (Reason: Microsoft Security not recognized in 5.30.1900)
Thank you.

It is recommended to update to the latest beta whenever:

1) You miss a feature from the latest stable release, but it's already implemented in the latest beta

2) You've found bug that's fixed in the latest beta

Our betas are generally very good quality, with only a few exceptions so far. We test our beta releases for major flaws of course, but slight issues might slip in.

1) Close EVEREST

2) Extract the beta ZIP contents into the existing installation folder of EVEREST (usually C:\Program Files\Lavalys\EVEREST Ultimate Edition). Let it overwrite any existing files.

That will keep all your existing settings, and also your existing license (if you had purchased a license).
