Hi,
I have just installed Everest Ultimate 4.6.
During start, just displaying "Scanning S.M.A.R.T. devices", my computer crashes suddenly (Monitor becomes black and system reboots).
I have stopped all tools like Coretemp and created an everest.ini file with the 3 lines

[generic]
LowLevelPCI=0
LowLevelSMBus=0

but my computer crashes again.
My Board is an ASUS P5Q deluxe, WIN XP pro SP3, my HDs are configured as an RAID-Volume.

Regards,

First of all, please upgrade to the latest beta version of EVEREST Ultimate Edition available at:

http://www.lavalys.c...s1dmyn4wcxr.zip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

If it still reboots at the same place while starting up, then please create an EVEREST.INI file with the following 2 lines in it:

[Generic]
LowLevelSMART=0

And let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Fiery

Hi,
thank you for your answer.
After adding the line "LowLevelSMART=0", Everest starts and works without problems.
Thanks,
